President Maumoon signs former minister’s condolence book

President Maumoon today signed the condolence book opened at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in memory of the late Hon Abdul Sattar Moosa Didi (NIIV).

Writing in the condolence book, President Maumoon said that the former minister served the country with dedication for over five decades, and that his passing away was a loss to the whole nation.

President Maumoon also said that the late Hon Abdul Sattar served under him as Fisheries Minister for eleven years and as Health Minister for three years, and that his contribution to the development of both these vital sector was immense. He further said that Hon Abdul Sattar was a person of the highest moral caliber and was respected as such.

The Former President was received on arrival at the ministry by Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon and high ranking officials of the ministry.
